The S S PUBLIC SCHOOL was established in 1997 by a multifaceted personality, an educationist and a social worker Late .Samar Bahadur Singh . He was postgraduate from university of Calcutta and a renouned speaker at Akashwani ,Varanasi .The establishment of this school was under the society Sushila Singh Shiksha Sansthan. The objectives of the society were :
To establish educational institution for providing education in different branches of learning without any distinction of colour, caste, community, religion, race and creed.
To give scholarship to the poor and meritorious students of the school.
The management committee was instrumental in the establishment of this school. This educational institute was set up with the aim to empower the weaker and downtrodden section of our society and provide them knowledge assisted with modern methodologies and technologies. The school was established in 1997 with strength of 350 students in the beginning. Under the able guidance and inspiration of the Founder, Late. Samar Bahadur Singh and the founder Principal Mr. D.P Singh (Ex- Principal Netarhat Residential College Ranchi) institution made spectacular progress and within a short span of time became well known for its brilliance as well as that of its students who brought glory to the institution and to themselves. Gradually with the passage of time this school gained a lot of popularity in the neighborhood for its excellence in education and for its discipline that the strength of students increased immensely. On the demand of parents the school stepped from standard 5 to standard 8. In year 2003 the school was affiliated to standard 10th and then to 12th. With the continuous fame and a new off shoot of school was set-up at Jaunpur recognized by CBSE. This institution believes in giving value based education along with cognitive excellence. School also lays great emphasis on physical and socio-emotional development and organizes numerous events and activities to inculcate all the necessary skills for the complete development of each child.
