He was born in 1928 in Varanasi. He was very well educated person. India's Maximum population is still living in the villages and remote rural areas. To provide them quality education like that of cities is a big challenge even in present scenario. Moreover quality education, modern teaching methodologies and equipment, airy and well ventilated class room, well furnished laboratory, rich library are not easily accessible to those who are living in the rural background.
To provide them all above mentioned facilities was the chief concern and dream of our founder Late Samar Bahadur Singh. In order to fulfil his dream, he started 'S S PUBLIC SCHOOL(Sushila Singh Public School)' in 1997. Since then it has been running successfully towards its mission. The school is situated on a twelve acre of plots on Varanasi - Lucknow National Highway, 14 Kms. from Varanasi.
To educate children is an outstanding social and national service which is adorable for natural resources of any country. It was a pious contribution of our founder to work with this vision so that darkness and ignorance of society can be removed. This objective is approaching towards success after great labour, efforts and innovation. The school is affiliated to the C.B.S.E., New Delhi for senior secondary education. Around 1600 students are studying in lush green premises by the torch bearers of the institution.
